Vitamins for Pets?

I am the proud owner of a german shepard who is now going on two years of age. I was never under the impression that dogs could use supplements to help their performance until my friend told me about it recently. I found out that Vitamins are required for bone growth, good vision and for the body’s metabolism. Implementing vitamins into my dog’s daily routine seems like a good idea along with giving him his regular dog food. I found a creditable dog vitamin company called Doctors Foster & Smith that I’ve done some research on. They make vitamins for dogs of all ages along with pills that will help their coat. Considering I’m relatively new to the pet vitamin realm I would appreciate anyones knowledge on the matter. Thanks!

Studies have shown that glucosamine helps rehabilitate cartilage and reduce the progress of dog arthritis while reducing pain and increase mobility in dogs. There are no side effects and is completely safe. If your dog suffers from arthritis you may want to look in to this supplement.
